Conference Terms & Conditions

1. The company and associates

1.1 [Company] refers to Newton Farnham Consulting Group PTY LTD a.k.a. NFC Group PTY LTD (ABN 40607938689).
1.2 [Invoice] means an electronic (PDF) invoice submitted by the [company] to the [client] covering the [services] provided/requested.
1.3 Test Engineering Alliance operates under the trading name of the [Company].

2. Speakers Terms & Conditions

This is a summary of Speakers/ Presenters terms and conditions. If you are speaking or delivering training at one of our events, the detailed Presenter’s agreement is avaiable here:

2.1 Opinions and views shared & expressed by keynote presenters and speakers are their own. The [Company] cannot accept liability for views or opinions expressed and advice given by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to conference attendees or delegates.
2.2 NFC Group may use the speaker’s name and presentation materials for promoting delegate attendance at the conference.
2.3 Speakers are responsible for ensuring that their presentations, images or videos used in the presentations are either their own or do not infringe any intellectual property rights or copyrights from another party.
2.4 Speaker’s session may be photographed and video recorded and the recording may be reproduced, distributed or sold as part of the overall conference materials.
2.5 The company may reproduce copies of the speaker’s presentation and distribute them as hand-out materials during or after the conference. Any acknowledgement regarding Copyright or IP rights must be included at the end of the abstract/presentation.

3. Payments
All bookings made prior to the conference must be paid in full to confirm booking/registration. Once payment has been received, an email confirmation and a receipted invoice will be sent.

4. Early Bird discounted rates
In order to qualify for any ‘early bird’ rates, booking and payment must be received before the deadline date listed in the conference marketing material.

5. Cancellations
Once registration is confirmed, no cancellation is accepted. We will not be able to refund the conference fee in case of non-attendance.

6. Transfer of tickets / Substitution
Conference attendees/ delegates may nominate an alternative person from their organisation to attend up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event, at no extra charge.

7. Access Requirements
Delegates should advise of any special access requirements at the time of registration.

8. Alterations to Programme – Cancellation/Postponement of Event
8.1 The company reserves the right to make alterations to the conference programme, venue and timings.
8.2 In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled, a full refund will be made.
8.3 In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the conference is being postponed or the dates being changed, the organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate.
8.4 If by re-arrangement or postponement the event can take place, the booking between the delegate and the organisers shall remain in force and will be subject to the cancellation.

9. Photography & Filming
The [Company] reserves the right to the pictures and videos taken during the proceedings of the conference. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organisers by email to prior to the event.

10. Data Protection
We do not pass speakers’ and attendees’ personal details submitted as part of the conference registration or otherwise to any 3rd parties.

11. Insurance
It is the responsibility of the presenters, speakers, attendees and delegates to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. The Company cannot be held liable for any injury to individuals, loss, liability or damage to personal property.
